Fords Colony Country Club is seeking a dependable, team-oriented Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. This position plays an important role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional experiences for weddings, tournaments, banquets, member events, and club dining operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare food items according to production schedules and quality standards
• Assist with banquet preparation, plating, and event execution
• Prep food items ahead of service while minimizing waste
• Maintain proper food labeling, rotation, and storage standards
• Check pars, complete line setup, and communicate shortages or out-of-stock items
• Receive and properly store deliveries from food vendors
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen
• Assist with inventory management and monthly food audits
• Break down boxes and remove trash as needed
• Prepare and make ice cream for Sweet Rose Ice Cream Shop
• Learn and utilize the propertys scheduling/PMS system
• Support the Kitchen Manager and culinary team with additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation required
• Minimum of two years of kitchen or restaurant experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
• Professional attitude with a strong work ethic
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Dependable and accountable
