Job Summary:
An OR (Operating Room) Nurse specializing in open heart procedures is sought for a healthcare facility located in York, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care for cardiac and thoracic surgeries, including open heart procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, alternating days off, with 1-2 call days per week requiring a 30-minute response, every third or fourth weekend (Friday 4:30 PM until Monday 6:00 AM), and work on holidays as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), EPIC electronic charting experience preferred, and current RN licensure with no license hits accepted.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in atrial septal defect repair, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), MAZE procedure, mitral valve replacement, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), fire safety, cell saver, blood and blood product administration, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling/labeling, universal protocol, wound management, and experience with Patient Ages (adults).
• Float: As needed.
• Additional Information: Candidate may be required to care for COVID-19 patients. This facility is tobacco and fragrance-free; please notify prior to submission.
• Submission Requirements: Local rate is $5 less than posted; RTO (Request for Time Off) should be within a maximum of 7 days.
