Senior Technical Implementation ConsultantIn the role of Senior Technical Implementation Consultant, you will:Serve as a primary integration interface with client tax professionalsLead business and user requirements sessions and formulate into design/solution documentation for Integration.Assist in the analysis and delivery of ORACLE integration implementations that reflect an in-depth understanding of the client's tax requirements and compliance process.Engagement with other Thomson Reuters teams as appropriate to deliver end to end Indirect Tax integration solutionsEnsure all Indirect tax related requirements are metExplain ONESOURCE Integration for ORACLE related issues/problems and solutions to non-tax & technical staffWork with clients to translate their tax policy into ONESOURCE integration solutionsWork with Product and Engineering teams in growth of the product and solutionsInstall and configure ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Integration for ORACLEExecute personal working within a controlled project management environmentWork with Pre-sales on prospects and bid developmentWork with functional & technical colleagues to deliver the implementationYou are a fit for the role of Senior Technical Implementation Consultant if you have:Must have technical experience implementing ORACLE and/or Add-on Solutions with external tax engines5+ years of work experience with at least 3 of those years working with ORACLE ERPMust have excellent interpersonal and written communication skillsMust have technical experience implementing ORACLE and/or Add-on SolutionsMust be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues caused when multiple add-ons are installedMust be skilled in troubleshooting and resolving ORACLE system issuesShould have experience with process analysis, design, mapping, and re-engineeringShould have experience with process/software gap analysis and resolutionShould have experience creating and executing test cases and test scriptsWorking in the ORACLE applicationOracle Programming capabilitiesKnowledge of APIs, Webservices (SOAP & REST), xmlBachelor's Degree RequiredUp to 10% of travel is expectedHighly Desirable Skills (not required)Tax and Financial:Experience configuring transaction taxes and related master data within ORACLEExperience with integrating third party enterprise tax products (e.g. ONESOURCE Determination, ONESOURCE Compliance, Avalara, Sovos, CCH, Sabrix, Taxware and/or Vertex) is highly desirableFinancial work experience or related degreeTechnical:Ability to write/modify existing integration software and integrate software applications and modules in accordance with agreed-upon specifications, created in partnership with othersCreate and execute unit testing ensuring software meets requirementsObject Oriented ProgrammingORACLE CertificationWhat's in it For You?Flexibility & Work-Life Balance: Flex My Way is a set of supportive workplace policies designed to help manage personal and professional responsibilities, whether caring for family, giving back to the community, or finding time to refresh and reset.
