Description:
Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians.
The locum need is for the equivalent of two full-time equivalents (FTEs).
Candidates must be flexible with shift work.
The main hospital campus may consider shifts less than 12 hours.
Affiliated facilities require 12-hour shifts.
All standard emergency room procedures are required.
The facility is a Level II trauma center.
Only specific specialties will be transferred.
The average patient census is around 170.
Common cases include mainly blunt trauma and a mix of all types of patients.
Annual emergency room admissions are approximately 24%.
The unit utilizes robots for neurology and psychiatric services.
The number of emergency medicine physicians per shift may vary.
