Precision CNC Machining Technician (Vertical Mills)
Where you’ll work: Placentia, California
When you’ll work: 1st shift or 2nd shift

Picture this scenarioYou receive a new job order. You study the blueprint, confirm datums, and stage tooling. On a 3- or 4-axis vertical mill, you load the CNC programme, run the first piece, and check it meticulously with micrometers and calipers. A minor offset tweak brings a critical dimension into spec. You record results, maintain machine cleanliness and lubrication, and keep the production flow on schedule—every step aligned to strict engineering standards.
What you’ll handle- Set up and operate vertical CNC mills to produce precise components to specification.
- Interpret daily production schedules and prepare machines and tooling for assigned runs.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance—lubrication, cleaning, and inspections.
- Adjust tooling and machine settings per CNC programmes to meet tight tolerances.
- Inspect finished parts to verify blueprint and dimensional accuracy.
- 3–6 years of production machine shop experience.
- Competence in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
- Hands-on ability with precision gauges, including micrometers and calipers.
- Exceptional attention to detail and consistent machining quality.
- Clear written and spoken English; able to follow technical instructions.
