Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and tailor therapeutic interventions that enable them to reach their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Modalities: Use research-driven techniques to enhance patients' physical capabilities, cognitive function, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Diverse Care Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, medical practitioners, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Teach Patients and Families: Empower patients and their loved ones with knowledge about therapy strategies that support ongoing improvement at home
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and modify plans as necessary to keep patients on their path to success

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Commitment to ongoing education with additional certifications supported and encouraged

Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
