Job Responsibilities

• Craft Custom Treatment Plans: Determine the unique needs of each patient and create tailored therapy approaches to help them reach their personal functional objectives
• Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to support improvements in patients' mobility, cognitive function, and daily living tasks
• Collaborate with a Multi-disciplinary Team: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, patient-centered care
• Teach Patients and Families: Provide guidance and education to patients and caregivers on therapy practices to encourage continued progress at home
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor and document patient outcomes and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary to keep them on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Support for continuing education and post-graduate specialization is available

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is a must
