Production Assemblers - 1st shift - Cloverdale, VA Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00a-4:30p Type: Contract to Perm Pay: $20.50/hr Location: Cloverdale, VA 24077 Industry: Manufacturing Lingo Staffing is hiring Production Assemblers for a manufacturing partner in Cloverdale. This is an excellent opportunity for Assembly and Production professionals to work in a fast-paced, temporary to hire role with an established manufacturer. Key Responsibilities: The industrial mechanical assemblers will be responsible for assembling axles for tractor trailers in a production based environment. Fit and assemble metal components using blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Maintain productivity and safety standards in a high-volume manufacturing environment Requirements: Must be mechanically inclined Must have experience in using hand/power tools Heavy lifting - 50+ pounds repeatedly Must be able to assemble axles according to a spec sheet / diagrams and written instructions Must be able to work safely in a production (fast paced) environment Basic math skills Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing or production setting Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment Screening: Candidates may be asked to complete client-specific screenings, such as background checks or drug testing.
