Accounting Clerk - GE

Job Description A freight company is seeking an Accounting Clerk who will be responsible for preparing, reconciling, and providing source documentation for issuance of purchase orders, customer invoices, and payments to vendors. You will work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Responsibilities Process bank accounts and credit card transactions Review vendor invoices, properly code, and enter into accounting system Prepare and assist in submitting daily, weekly, and monthly reports Maintain production material inventory reports Compile, acquire, reconcile information, issue customer invoices, process purchase orders, and pay vendors Maintain accounts, ledgers, journals, files, reports, and other documentation Maintain and collect files, requisitions, reports, and enter accounting records in QuickBooks Track vehicle manufacturing data that supports accurate invoicing Perform other duties as needed Qualifications Must have at least 5 years of applicable accounting or proven bookkeeping experience Must have a working business knowledge of Accounting, Purchasing, and Inventory Must be proficient using QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel Spreadsheets Must have excellent customer service, communication, organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills Must have strong judgement and decision making skills Must have the ability to work well with others Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
