Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through assessments of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely alongside surgeons to establish and implement patient-centric surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support, such as preparing surgical areas, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exceptional pre- and post-operative care, from medication administration to discharge planning and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical care strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
