Metal FabricatorWe're a custom architectural millwork shop, and metal fabrication and welding make up the bulk of our production — doors, gates, frames, and structural pieces that have to be built right. We're looking for someone who can run the metal side of the shop with minimal hand-holding: read a project, plan the fabrication, execute clean welds, and keep our project managers in the loop the whole way through.This isn't an entry-level position. You'll be trusted to take a set of specs and figure out how to build it — not wait to be told each step. If you thrive under pressure, own your work, and want a shop that will lean on you, we want to talk to you.What You'll DoFabricate and weld custom metal components — doors, gates, frames, brackets, and structural parts — from drawings and specsRead blueprints and shop drawings and plan your own layout and sequencingCoordinate directly with project managers on timelines, project changes, and priorities — you're the bridge between the office and the floorRun MIG/TIG/stick welding as the job requires, on steel, stainless, and aluminumInspect your own and others' work for fit, finish, and weld quality before it leaves the shopHelp train and guide other shop team members on fabrication tasksKeep projects moving without needing constant direction — flag problems early, solve what you can, escalate what you can'tWhat You Need3+ years of hands-on welding and metal fabrication experience (architectural, structural, or industrial)Solid MIG and TIG skills; comfortable with steel, stainless, and aluminumCan read blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols independentlyProven ability to manage your own workload and make decisions without being micromanagedClear communicator — comfortable talking directly with project managers about schedules and problemsSteady under deadline pressure, without cutting corners on quality or safetyNice To HaveExperience in architectural millwork, doors/gates, or custom fabrication shopsPrior lead, foreman, or supervisory experienceAWS certification(s)Send your experience and availability our way — we respond fast and can usually get you in for a shop visit within a few days.The Restoration Station - Oklahoma City 4901 N Cooper Ave, Oklahoma City, OK, 73118
