Staff Accountant

We are looking for a full-time Senior Accountant to support the day‑to‑day accounting, month‑end, and year‑end close processes by providing technical expertise in general ledger activities for a rapidly growing company. We are not looking for a consultant or 1099 employee. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of financial reports. Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. GAAP, FASB), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner Reconcile corporate credit card accounts Prepare general ledger account reconciliations on a monthly basis Review and reconcile intercompany transactions Provide additional analysis as required and special projects as assigned. Understands requirements and processing of 1099s for vendors, IRS reporting and tax return preparation Assists in the development of new accounting systems, system conversions, upgrades and testing Oversee the processing of Accounts Payable transactions ensuring invoices (purchase order invoices and non‑purchase order invoices) are vouchered timely Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience (Preferred) Active CPA license (Preferred) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software (Required) Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation Highly detail-oriented Knowledge and experience working with a multi‑business company Job Type: Full-time Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 – based on experience Paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr Priceless Home Improvements LLC
