IT Systems Analyst

IT Systems AnalystWe are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join a collaborative enterprise technology team supporting strategic IT initiatives. This role serves as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business needs are accurately translated into technical requirements while communicating technical solutions in a way that business users can easily understand.Candidates with prior software development experience are highly encouraged to apply.Key responsibilities include:Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirementsTranslate business needs into detailed technical specificationsFacilitate meetings with business stakeholders and technical teamsCreate documentation including user stories, workflows, process diagrams, and functional specificationsCommunicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiencesAnalyze business processes and recommend improvementsTrack project deliverables, risks, issues, and dependenciesMonitor service performance using KPIs and metricsSupport continuous improvement initiativesAssist with vendor management, contracts, and SLA complianceRequired qualifications include:Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)7–9+ years of Systems Analysis, Business Analysis, or IT Analysis experienceStrong requirements gathering and documentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilitiesExperience collaborating across matrix organizationsUnderstanding of IT systems, applications, integrations, and technology domainsExperience working with KPIs and continuous improvement initiativesMicrosoft Office proficiencyPreferred qualifications include:Previous software development backgroundExperience translating technical concepts for business usersUtility or regulated industry experienceKnowledge of budgeting and financial analysisExperience working with vendors and managed service providersFamiliarity with contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
