Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical reconstructions, or other musculoskeletal conditions directly within their home environment.
• Develop tailored treatment plans, leveraging a diverse range of techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and adaptive modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Continuously assess patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery and health outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment responses, and plans in a detailed manner, using appropriate digital record-keeping systems.
• Provide education and practical training to patients and their families about home exercises, modifications, and proper use of any recommended assistive devices.
• Stay current with industry developments by participating in relevant educational workshops, professional networking, and continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The diverse patient population includes children, adults, and seniors who may be facing challenges such as post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, or rehabilitation following sports injuries. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
