Work Environment

This role is based in a home care setting, allowing you to work directly with patients in the comfort of their own homes. Our team is dedicated to creating a supportive and collaborative atmosphere that prioritizes patient outcomes through teamwork and excellent service. As part of our onsite team, you will enjoy a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, committing 40 hours each week to delivering outstanding therapeutic care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions for patients referred by physicians.
• Utilize various evidence-based techniques to treat patients, focusing on orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills while contributing to a positive patient experience.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes, sharing insights and techniques based on research-driven practices.
• Deliver purposeful and skilled therapy within the patient's home, ensuring alignment with physician-approved plans of care.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers through consultations, training sessions, and ongoing support.
• Meet established utilization goals, ensuring effective service delivery and contributing to clinic success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a broad range of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, children with developmental needs, patients with neurological conditions, and athletes requiring rehabilitation from sports-related injuries. Each patient will receive a tailored approach, allowing our therapists to guide them toward achieving their functional goals in a supportive home environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a physical therapist, with a focus on orthopedic practices preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer applications to maintain patient records and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health settings or providing therapy in patient-centered care environments is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships with patients and their families, ensuring trust and engagement.
• Community involvement and a desire to connect beyond clinical interactions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and demonstrated abilities. In addition to a base salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
