This position is based in the field, providing personalized care to patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of new patients to determine individual needs, limitations, and goals, creating a personalized treatment plan tailored to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Implement and adapt therapeutic exercises and modalities that enhance motion and mobility while focusing on orthopedic recovery to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a manageable caseload that allows for meaningful interaction and progress monitoring with each patient, minimizing time constraints that can hinder effective treatment.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques, ensuring a high standard of care that incorporates various modalities backed by the latest research in physical therapy.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, progress, and home exercise programs to foster independence and encourage lifestyle changes that support recovery.
• Monitor patient progress continuously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize results and meet the evolving needs of each individual.
• Maintain precise and accurate documentation of treatment plans, patient responses, and adjustments to care using EMR software, particularly Web PT.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, leveraging interprofessional insights to enhance treatment efficacy.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program, ensuring deep knowledge and skills in contemporary physical therapy practices.
• An active and unblemished license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, free from sanctions or board actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques, emphasizing hands-on treatment to promote patient recovery effectively.
• A track record of designing and implementing successful exercise and rehabilitation programs targeted at specific orthopedic conditions.
• Experience with EMR documentation processes, particularly Web PT, to facilitate efficient record-keeping and patient communication.
• Current knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy trends and techniques, ensuring alignment with best practices in the field.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting is highly desirable, demonstrating an understanding of patient flow and treatment modalities specific to this clinical focus.
• A background in sports medicine and rehabilitation techniques will be viewed favorably, expanding your effectiveness within our dynamic patient population.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
