Big Stone PT Center is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Woodbridge, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, establishing a baseline for treatment by assessing mobility, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize diverse techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and advanced rehabilitation technologies.
• Monitor patients' progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, techniques, and injury prevention strategies to promote ongoing health and wellness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records documenting evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and patient responses.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate interdisciplinary care focused on each patient's unique needs.
• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in physical therapy through continued education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors, each with specific orthopedic conditions ranging from sports injuries to post-surgical rehabilitation. Your skills will empower patients to regain function, alleviate pain, and achieve their personal rehabilitation goals, contributing to improved overall health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold a valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in word processing and general computer skills.
• A positive attitude, high adaptability to changing situations, and a collaborative spirit are critical.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with assistive devices and adaptive tools for patient mobility and self-care will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
