Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Small Changes Physical Therapy Services. This full-time position is ideal for a compassionate and motivated individual who is passionate about orthopedic rehabilitation and improving patients' quality of life. As a key member of our facility, you will work 40 hours per week, from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, directly contributing to patient recovery and mobility enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to design individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and functional abilities.
• Administer specialized techniques in orthopedic rehabilitation, leveraging evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, ensuring that each patient receives personalized attention and care.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities and customize exercise programs to suit individual patient needs, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Effectively communicate treatment goals and progress to patients, providing motivation and education throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team to create integrated care strategies for our patients.
• Document all aspects of patient care using EMR software (specifically Web PT) to maintain comprehensive records.
• Monitor patient progress over time, adjusting treatment programs as necessary to ensure the highest level of recovery.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices and preventive measures that enhance patient well-being and long-term health.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating practical expertise in the field.
• Proficient in various evidence-based therapeutic techniques and manual therapy modalities, with a strong grasp of clinical application.
• Knowledgeable in modern EMR software, particularly Web PT, for accurate and efficient documentation.
• History of maintaining a clean license, free from any sanctions or board proceedings.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored to the individual goals of patients.
• Familiarity with sports medicine practices and proactive injury prevention strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective patient interactions and collaboration with colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges between USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
