Work Environment

This position will be onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation facility, working alongside a compact yet talented team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Assess and recognize individual patient goals and needs, tailoring interventions to achieve those objectives.
• Maintain an effective patient caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring quality time for assessment and treatment.
• Develop and implement treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices and a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Provide proactive, cost-effective treatment strategies to enhance patients' mobility while minimizing medication use.
• Encourage and empower patients throughout their therapeutic journey, motivating them to reach goals and enhance their daily functionality.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create cohesive care plans and enhance interdisciplinary patient outcomes.
• Thoroughly document all patient interactions and services provided, ensuring compliance and facilitating continuous care.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify interventions as necessary, based on patient progress and emerging needs.
• Promote health and wellness initiatives, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination among patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient demographic served by our practice predominantly includes adults seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, post-operative care, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Clear record with no board actions or disciplinary actions affecting your license.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and proficient in conducting functional exercises.
• Experienced with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, ensuring efficient documentation and coordination of care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various contemporary therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation protocols.
• A background in developing wellness programs tailored to individual patient goals.
• Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range for this position, between USD 90,000 and USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
