Work Environment

Your work will take place onsite in our modern outpatient office that boasts specialized treatment rooms designed to facilitate effective therapy sessions. Operate alongside a collaborative team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all supporting a culture of excellence in patient care. Our center primarily serves adults with private medical insurance, fostering an environment of personalized care where each member of the team contributes to shared patient goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand patient needs, setting clear objectives to help them achieve personalized health goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, typically treating one patient per hour to provide focused and comprehensive care.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans through skilled therapeutic techniques that enhance movement capabilities.
• Employ evidence-based practices to minimize reliance on medication and explore non-surgical approaches for improved outcomes.
• Motivate and encourage patients to engage actively in their rehabilitation, fostering a proactive approach to health and wellness.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights and collaborating to ensure integrated care for each patient.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately using EMR software such as WebPT, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.
• Evaluate patient progress routinely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with their evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in Fairfax Station, Virginia, with no records of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, exercise program design, and implementation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, providing a strong foundation for understanding complex musculoskeletal conditions.

Compensation and Benefits
