Work Environment

Our clinic fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment where teamwork and communication are paramount. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work onsite during standard office hours, from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our facility is well-staffed and designed for outpatient rehabilitation, allowing you to focus on providing quality patient care without distractions. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Implement treatment strategies using a variety of evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused, quality care.
• Motivate and educate patients on their rehabilitation journey, helping them to set realistic expectations and milestones.
• Document all services provided throughout each patient's treatment in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring accurate patient history and treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and evaluations.
• Promote injury prevention through education and customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's lifestyle and needs.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve primarily consist of individuals covered by private medical insurance, many of whom are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. This diverse demographic presents a unique opportunity to provide specialized care tailored to both adult and pediatric populations. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in Virginia, with no disciplinary or board actions against it.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop effective, personalized exercise regimens.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, required for maintaining patient records and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable. Strong manual therapy skills and familiarity with current rehabilitation techniques will set you apart as a candidate. Additionally, experience in collaborating with various healthcare professionals to create integrated treatment plans will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
