Work Environment

The position is full-time and onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients and coworkers. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' individual needs, goals, and limitations.
• Manage a manageable caseload of patients, aiming for one individual per hour to ensure focused and personalized treatment.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient's specific condition.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic strategies to improve patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall physical function.
• Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises and techniques aimed at optimizing their recovery and minimize the necessity for surgical interventions and medications.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, encouraging adherence to prescribed therapy and fostering an overall healthier lifestyle.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and comprehensive patient care, participating in case conferences as needed.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes and monitor patient progress through regular assessments and clear communication with patients and their families.
• Document patient care services concisely in our WebPT electronic medical record (EMR) system for compliance and quality assurance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily caters to individuals with orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, postoperative recovery, and chronic pain management. We predominantly serve patients with private medical insurance, which allows us to maintain a high standard of service and provide individualized care that adapts to diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid Virginia Physical Therapist license, with a clean professional record.
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, specifically in applying manual therapy techniques.
• Ability to create and implement effective exercise protocols tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency in utilizing the WebPT EMR software to track patient progress and treatment outcomes efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Background in developing and managing group therapy sessions or wellness programs is a plus.
• Exposure to advanced treatment modalities such as dry needling or aquatic therapy will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
