The work setting is onsite in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Herndon, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including a review of medical history and physical assessments, to create individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, actively involving them in goal-setting processes.
• Implement and adapt treatment protocols based on patient evaluations and their evolving conditions, ensuring high-quality care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to modify treatment plans as necessary and address emerging patient needs.
• Participate in discharge planning, ensuring a seamless transition of care, and maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and progress.
• Exhibit effective time management skills to meet productivity targets, while also honoring patient appointments and schedules.
• Contribute to departmental goals and maintain adherence to regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education initiatives, while also mentoring students and new staff where applicable.
• Support patient access initiatives by actively participating in marketing and community outreach efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, assisting them in rehabilitation following injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. You will work with diverse patient demographics, ranging from sports injuries to postoperative recovery, ensuring personalized care tailored to each individual's needs. By implementing evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques, you will aid in their recovery journey, significantly enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) through the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation or orthopedic setting.
• Current certification in CPR and other relevant qualifications.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Ability Rehab PT offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
