Work Environment

This position is based in our state-of-the-art outpatient office located in Herndon, Virginia, a vibrant community that offers a wealth of resources and amenities for both staff and patients. You will work onsite in a facilities designed for optimal patient comfort and healing, equipped with the latest technology in physical therapy tools and equipment. Our standard work schedule consists of Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for patients, ensuring alignment with their personal rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a diverse caseload efficiently, dedicating sufficient time and attention to each patient to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, utilizing your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to enhance patient motion and performance.
• Educate patients on non-surgical alternatives and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term health and minimize reliance on medications.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure best outcomes and effectiveness.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all treatments and patient interactions using EMR software, with an emphasis on Web PT for precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and address any co-morbidities effectively.
• Empower and motivate patients, providing encouragement throughout their treatment journey and helping them achieve personal health goals.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay ahead of current trends and techniques in physical therapy.

Qualifications

• A valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with a clean record and no history of sanctions.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and exercise modalities, demonstrating expertise in developing targeted exercise programs.
• Strong understanding of EMR systems, with experience in Web PT or similar software for proficient documentation and patient management.
• Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and physical therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, with a proven track record of successfully managing diverse patient cases.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement individualized care plans that achieve desired outcomes.
• Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits
