Work Environment

Your work will be conducted onsite, within our well-equipped treatment space designed to optimize patient care. The center is arranged to promote efficient workflows and comfort during therapy sessions. You will collaborate closely with two fellow physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a stimulating team atmosphere that values continuous learning and professional development. This full-time position, operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensures a consistent and manageable schedule conducive to work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will:

• Identify patient goals and needs through thorough assessment and evaluation procedures.
• Efficiently manage a caseload of one patient per hour, delivering high-quality care within that time frame.
• Utilize your expertise to develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to improve outcomes.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, enhancing their motivation and commitment to their health.
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress comprehensively in compliance with clinical and legal standards.
• Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals facing post-surgical rehabilitation, and those seeking to improve mobility and functional performance. Each patient's care plan will be uniquely tailored to their specific conditions, with an emphasis on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• A clear professional record without instances of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and the ability to create effective exercise programs.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting are highly valued. Familiarity with sports rehab methodologies and a passion for working with diverse patient populations will also be beneficial. Compensation and Benefits
