Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians, using a variety of evidence-based tools and techniques.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and progress, utilizing modalities such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions directly within our facility that help improve patients' mobility and overall function.
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices to ensure continuity of care and effective communication with other healthcare providers.
• Promote excellent customer service and maintain a patient-centered approach by ensuring all interactions are motivational and supportive.
• Actively participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to stay updated with advancements in the field of physical therapy.
• Facilitate educational sessions for patients and their families to empower them in self-management and understanding of their conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on orthopedic patients, but also includes exposure to a diverse patient demographic, including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. You will help individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain, providing them with the necessary tools and support to regain their optimal functionality. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
