Position Overview

Trails Rehabilitation & Wellness Pro is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our expanding team. This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Dulles, Virginia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient-centered care to individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries.

Work Environment

Working at our Dulles facility means being part of a collaborative environment filled with supportive colleagues who strive for excellence in patient care. Our rehabilitation center features cutting-edge technology and resources designed to enhance therapy outcomes. You will work from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly evaluate patients by conducting comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that address individual functional limitations and disabilities.
• Implement and adapt treatment interventions based on ongoing evaluations, patient progress, and changes in health status.
• Document patient care activities meticulously, including initial evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and follow-up recommendations to ensure clear communication of care results.
• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations with other healthcare professionals to modify treatment plans as necessary, fostering a holistic approach to patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, maintaining updated knowledge of industry standards and practice acts.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and accessibility for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, focusing on populations with both acute and chronic conditions. Our diverse client base includes athletes, elderly patients, and individuals with mobility impairments seeking to regain function and improve their quality of life through targeted rehabilitation strategies. You will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise to positively impact their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with solid experience in various orthopedic rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and emerging treatment modalities. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and successful participation in clinical outcomes measurement programs would also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
