Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs and promote optimal recovery.
• Implement effective therapeutic interventions through various modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training to address a wide spectrum of orthopedic conditions.
• Maintain excellent communication with patients and their families, providing education and training to encourage engagement in their treatment processes.
• Participate in treatment team meetings to discuss progress and modify plans as necessary, ensuring a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Track and document patient progress, achieving minimum utilization goals while ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations.
• Utilize evidence-based guidelines and cutting-edge therapeutic techniques to enhance patient outcomes and ensure the efficacy of treatment interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with patients from various backgrounds, focusing primarily on orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia is mandatory.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
