Work Environment

You will work primarily in home care settings, delivering rehabilitative services to patients in the comfort of their homes. This dynamic environment allows for personalized interactions that foster strong patient-therapist relationships. Your work hours will typically consist of 40 hours weekly, with some variation required for weekends. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients, establishing individualized treatment plans that address their specific orthopedic injuries and functional limitations.
• Offer consultations to healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care throughout the patient's rehabilitation journey.
• Deliver treatments that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and mobility training, all while adhering to established customer service standards.
• Document and communicate clinical findings to the interdisciplinary treatment team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, maintaining accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives to promote health awareness and preventative care strategies.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, ensuring the effective delivery of patient care and compliance with workplace standards.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs to enhance your skills and stay informed about the latest therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults and seniors facing a range of orthopedic conditions, from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Each patient presents unique challenges, and you will be expected to tailor your approach based on their age, cultural background, and personal recovery goals. Building rapport with patients and their families is essential for fostering trust and encouraging compliance with treatment plans.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current state license in Physical Therapy, demonstrating your commitment to regulatory standards.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with patients and the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and documentation software.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, preference will be given to candidates with clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation settings. Compensation and Benefits
