This role is based in a modern rehabilitation center located in Manassas, Virginia, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and tools to support therapists in delivering effective patient care. As part of our onsite team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to implement comprehensive rehabilitation strategies tailored to individual patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities and alleviating pain in orthopedic patients.
• Assess patients through diagnostic evaluations to determine their functional capabilities, creating personalized goals for rehabilitation.
• Oversee and support the physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to the established plans of care and facilitating effective communication.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, traction, and other modalities as necessary based on physician prescriptions.
• Evaluate and modify prosthetic and orthotic devices, recommending adjustments to optimize patient mobility.
• Document patient progress through clinical records including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, while adhering to the regulations of federal and state governing agencies.
• Engage as a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing to case conferences and collaboration efforts focused on comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families about their treatment plans, physical therapy devices, and home exercises to promote independence and recovery.
• Stay accessible to the Physical Therapy Assistant and provide real-time guidance during patient sessions.
• Complete additional tasks as required to support the company's mission and enhance overall patient service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work predominantly with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions that affect their mobility and functionality. This demographic often includes post-surgical patients as well as individuals with conditions such as arthritis, joint replacements, and musculoskeletal issues. Our focus is to restore our clients' independence and enhance their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in good standing as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Certification in CPR.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist, preferably in an acute care or home care setting.
• A strong understanding of federal and state regulations governing physical therapy practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
• Experience in managing patient care plans and enhancing patient engagement through education and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
