Work Environment

You will thrive in an onsite environment where teamwork, professionalism, and compassion are at the core of our practice. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet flexible schedule that promotes work-life balance. With an emphasis on teamwork, you'll collaborate closely with two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) to deliver unparalleled care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients to identify their functional limitations and rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a caseload effectively, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring individualized care plans are implemented and followed.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Implement diverse treatment modalities, such as manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise programs, to improve mobility and strength.
• Educate patients about their conditions and empower them with strategies for self-management outside of therapy sessions.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring cohesive patient care and communication.
• Provide guidance on injury prevention, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications to enhance long-term health.

Our practice primarily serves individuals with a wide range of orthopedic issues, from sports injuries to postoperative rehabilitation. We cater to a diverse patient demographic who have private medical insurance, ensuring that our approach is both comprehensive and accessible. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Impeccable professional record with no disciplinary actions against licensure.
• Strong demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic manual therapy techniques.
• Exceptional skill in designing and implementing customized exercise protocols.
• Proficient in using WebPT EMR Software for efficient patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with sports medicine principles and techniques is a plus.
• Confidence in utilizing advanced modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation in treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
