Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments to establish individualized goals and treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and aspirations.
• Manage a focused caseload, treating one patient per hour to ensure quality time and personalized care for each individual.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment interventions that prioritize increasing range of motion and functional mobility.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to maximize patient recovery and minimize the need for medications or surgeries.
• Effectively communicate with patients about their progress, motivating them to adhere to treatment plans and actively participate in their rehabilitation.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment protocols meticulously, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve holistic patient care and coordinate additional services when necessary.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, adjust plans as needed, and provide ongoing education to patients regarding safety and health optimization strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily involves treating orthopedic patients of various ages, focusing on those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their movement abilities. Your therapeutic skills will be essential in addressing diverse musculoskeletal issues, enhancing recovery speeds, and improving overall patient functionality.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A clean professional record with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in developing and implementing tailored exercise protocols.
• Experienced in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, with a preference for familiarity with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to build rapport with patients and foster a positive therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrated competence in patient education related to rehabilitation and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
