Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patient histories, executing specific assessments, and documenting findings effectively.

• Implement treatment protocols with expertise derived from evaluation results, patient conditions, and best practices in an evolving healthcare landscape.
• Interface with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on documented changes in patient conditions.
• Execute discharge planning and follow-up care effectively, ensuring accurate documentation and timely charges for patient care activities, including detailed progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Manage time efficiently to meet productivity goals while maintaining an organized schedule and punctuality for meetings and appointments.
• Contribute to departmental objectives and adhere to all relevant regulations and accreditation standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including serving as a clinical instructor for students, fostering the growth of the next generation of therapists.
• Promote a culture of customer service excellence by being flexible and adaptable in meeting patient needs.
• Engage in initiatives aimed at removing barriers to patient access, leveraging data to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients requiring varying degrees of rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, post-operative care, and age-related physical challenges. Your focus will be on developing treatment plans that align with their specific capabilities, lifestyles, and rehabilitation goals, thereby ensuring that each patient receives personalized and effective care.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license issued in the State of Virginia.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
