Work Environment

The standard work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, providing a balanced work-life structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored therapy interventions based on individual patient assessments, ensuring that care plans are customized to address specific mobility challenges and rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a productive patient caseload, allowing for thorough evaluations and meaningful engagement with each patient during their treatment sessions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic care to implement effective treatment strategies that promote optimal recovery.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment plans, regularly evaluating patient progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that employ diverse physical therapy techniques and modalities, including but not limited to manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Educate patients about their conditions and empower them to take an active role in their recovery, offering strategies to enhance their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
• Accurately document all therapeutic services provided in compliance with legal and organizational standards, utilizing EMR systems such as WebPT for efficient record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily involves treating a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Our therapists focus on improving functional abilities so patients can resume their daily activities and hobbies, significantly enhancing their quality of life. We emphasize a supportive, patient-centered approach that encourages continuous communication and feedback, ensuring each patient feels valued and heard throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia with a clean professional record, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• A strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and an ability to design and implement successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to ensure accurate documentation and workflow efficiency.
• Knowledge of contemporary physical therapy techniques that are informed by current research and best practices in the field.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, preferably with a specialization in orthopedics or sports medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to engage patients in their rehabilitation journey, fostering motivation and adherence to therapy.
• Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver integrated patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 60,000 and 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
