Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Active Mobility PT, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical condition and plan appropriate treatment strategies.
• Implementing individualized treatment programs utilizing both traditional and advanced therapeutic techniques to ensure optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting progress thoroughly to facilitate communication with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Providing education and training to patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises, safety practices, and overall wellness.
• Engaging actively in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and enhance the effectiveness of the therapy provided.
• Meeting established productivity goals while ensuring that the quality of patient care remains the highest priority.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily focus on a diverse range of orthopedic cases, including but not limited to joint replacements, fractures, and sports injuries. You will also have the opportunity to work with pediatric patients, neurologic cases, and clients requiring sports medicine rehabilitation, which allows for a varied and enriching professional experience. Qualifications

The following qualifications are required to be considered for this position:

• Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills for documentation and patient management systems.
• Ability to build effective relationships with patients, contributing to their engagement in treatment and recovery goals.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are advantageous for applicants:

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly dealing with orthopedic conditions.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and modern rehabilitation technologies.
• Experience with patient education and community outreach initiatives to support holistic health and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Mobility PT offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
