We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at LifeMotion Physical Therapy and Balance Center in Dulles, Virginia. In this full-time role, you will be pivotal in aiding patients on their recovery journeys, providing personalized treatment and rehabilitation services tailored to individual needs.

Work Environment

This onsite position is based in our outpatient facility in Dulles, Virginia, where a collaborative and energetic work culture thrives. You will be equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and resources to facilitate optimal patient recovery, and you will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapy aides and administrative staff, to create a seamless care experience for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to establish patients' physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans designed to optimize recovery, emphasizing evidence-based practices.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, manual therapy techniques, and tailored exercises to foster patient rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatment options, and the importance of active participation in the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in our electronic medical record system.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and share insights for improved outcomes.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring adaptability and responsiveness to changing needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals of all ages, each facing a variety of orthopedic conditions. You will work closely with patients recovering from surgery, injury, or those managing chronic conditions, all of whom require personalized care and attention. Your role is significant in impacting their recovery journey, helping them regain their functional independence and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is essential.
• Must possess a current Virginia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• We require a minimum of 2 years' experience in an orthopedic clinical setting; however, fresh graduates who are passionate about orthopedics are also encouraged to apply!
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for high-quality patient care.
• A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

While we value experienced professionals, we also believe in nurturing new talent. Candidates with prior experience in outpatient facilities, sports rehabilitation, or specialized orthopedic treatment will be preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 per year depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
