Work Environment

This is an onsite role in our bustling outpatient office, where you will collaborate with a small team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at meeting the unique goals of each patient.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated attention and quality care during each session.
• Administer hands-on treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to assist with recovery.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies focused on improving mobility, minimizing pain, and enhancing overall physical function.
• Encourage patients by providing ongoing motivation and support throughout their treatment journey, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, including physicians and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.
• Document patient progress and treatment efficacy using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, including WebPT, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients who have private medical insurance, catering to a diverse range of orthopedic conditions. Our clientele includes individuals recovering from surgical interventions, those diagnosed with chronic pain, and athletes seeking rehabilitation to return to peak performance. Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design that addresses diverse patient needs.
• Strong communication skills, capable of maintaining open dialogue with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Previous exposure to a sports medicine environment would be advantageous but is not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
