Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Dulles, Virginia, our outpatient rehabilitation center boasts cutting-edge equipment and a comfortable, modern environment that promotes healing and recovery. You will work onsite, collaborating with a versatile team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and rehabilitation aides. Our dedicated hours are from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess movement patterns, strength, and functional capabilities to create tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions, focusing on specific patient goals and employing various therapeutic techniques.
• Utilize hands-on therapeutic methods, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities to alleviate pain and promote recovery.
• Develop comprehensive rehabilitation programs that integrate educational components to inform patients about their conditions.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Actively engage patients throughout their therapy journey, providing motivation and support to enhance adherence to prescribed exercises.
• Educate patients on injury prevention techniques, lifestyle modifications, and home exercise regimens to sustain therapeutic gains.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive treatment experience for each patient.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required, with advanced certifications preferred.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices.
• Strong proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques, demonstrating a well-rounded approach to patient care.
• Experience in creating and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Competence using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for efficient documentation and tracking of patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
