Work Environment

This position is full-time and onsite, operating within our outpatient office. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life dynamic for our staff. In our therapy office, you will work closely with a committed team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), fostering a collaborative and supportive working atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine individual care needs and develop customized treatment plans based on diverse therapeutic techniques.
• Administer cost-effective therapies that aim to improve patients' range of motion and mobility, ensuring each session is tailored to the patient's specific goals.
• Minimize the reliance on medications and advocate for non-surgical alternatives whenever possible to foster natural recovery.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them to achieve functional improvements.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and design exercise programs that align with patients' rehabilitation goals while monitoring their progress closely.
• Maintain a patient load with a targeted capacity of one patient per hour to ensure high-quality, individualized care.
• Collaborate regularly with other healthcare professionals to enhance holistic patient care and share insights regarding treatment approaches.
• Document services provided clearly and accurately, utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software such as WebPT.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• A clean record with no board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program implementation.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically WebPT, for efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is strongly preferred.
• Demonstratable expertise in formulating and executing evidence-based treatment interventions.
• Experience in promoting wellness and preventive care strategies to improve patients' overall quality of life.

Compensation and Benefits
