Work Environment

This physical therapist position is primarily onsite, delivering care directly in patient homes throughout the Dulles, Virginia area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery within a home care setting.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic methods, including exercises, stretching routines, hands-on therapy, and rehabilitation equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Document all patient treatments, reactions, and progress meticulously to ensure continuity of care and effective treatment adjustments.
• Regularly reassess therapeutic goals and adapt treatment plans as needed to align with each patient's evolving needs.
• Provide education and training to patients, their families, and caregivers on the use of assistive devices, promoting independence and self-care.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institute.
