Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function based on individualized patient assessments.
• Ensure the effective implementation of treatment plans by supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and participating in their training when necessary.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, utilizing diagnostic tools to assess functional abilities and establish a baseline for treatment.
• Provide hands-on treatment including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and instruction in activities designed to promote functional independence.
• Evaluate patients' home environments to recommend modifications and equipment that enhance safety and support rehabilitation goals.
• Document and maintain clinical records including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries according to best practices and company policy.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights that affect overall patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, communicating any changes to the healthcare team and the patient's physician.
• Educate patients and their families on the best practices for managing therapy programs and the use of assistive devices, promoting compliance and healthy living.
• Engage in professional development activities and stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices, contributing to the overall knowledge base of the team.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
