Work Environment

The environment in our outpatient office is collaborative and dynamic, where you will work alongside a team of two experienced physical therapists and a dedicated physical therapist assistant (PTA). The office setting is designed to encourage communication and teamwork, fostering a culture of shared knowledge and mutual support. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' physical conditions, goals, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques and modalities.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality, personalized care throughout each session.
• Administer effective physical therapy treatments aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functional capacity.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to facilitate patient recovery.
• Educate and motivate patients on their treatment plans and best practices for achieving optimal health outcomes.
• Document patient progress accurately in our electronic medical records (EMR) system (WebPT), ensuring compliance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, including regular communication on treatment outcomes and progress.
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and measurable progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. We are committed to delivering personalized care that addresses the unique challenges faced by each patient. Our focus is on enhancing patients' functional performance and restoring their ability to live healthily and actively.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• No history of disciplinary actions concerning licensure.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise implementation.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing a diverse patient caseload, with a focus on functional rehabilitation.
• Experience in developing targeted fitness and wellness programs for various patients.

Compensation and Benefits
