Work Environment

This position is based on-site, primarily delivering therapy in clients' homes throughout the Sterling area. You will work in a flexible environment that allows for personal interaction and building relationships with clients and their families. Our team is comprised of professionals who are dedicated to creating a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages recovery and promotes wellness. Standard working hours will be weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent schedule for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical abilities and limitations, using standardized evaluation tools and patient interviews.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific goals and challenges faced by each client.
• Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, relieving pain, and supporting optimal daily functioning.
• Monitor and document clients' progress through regular evaluations and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date therapy records in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with patient confidentiality and billing procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to guarantee comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families to empower them in their recovery journey and educate them on preventive strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will work primarily with elderly residents experiencing a range of mobility challenges due to age-related conditions, post-surgical recovery, neurological impairments, and musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Virginia is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and knowledge of patient-centered care approaches.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with clients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is highly desirable, although new graduates with a strong foundation in PT concepts are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience in home health care settings is a plus, as it demonstrates the capability to manage therapy in clients' residences effectively.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
