Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility located in Sterling, Virginia. Our workspace is designed to promote positivity and teamwork, equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and resources to support our Physical Therapists in delivering top-quality care. Your standard working hours will be Monday to Friday, either from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing a structured schedule that encourages work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients recovering from injuries, surgical procedures, or debilitating conditions in our rehabilitation facility.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that utilize various modalities, including therapeutic exercises, stretching techniques, manual therapy, and assistive devices to maximize patient mobility and minimize pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment goals and plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Engage in continuous communication with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to provide education on treatment procedures, home exercises, and overall wellness strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices through participation in workshops, seminars, and professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes children and adults across a spectrum of conditions, from sports injuries and orthopedic surgeries to geriatric rehabilitation and chronic pain management. Your role will involve working closely with each patient to understand their unique needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized approach to care that maximizes recovery potential.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, showcasing a strong foundation in rehabilitation practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
• Proficient computer skills for documenting patient care and maintaining accurate records.

Compensation and Benefits
