This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Dulles, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Direct individualized physical therapy treatments focusing on the prevention of disabilities, pain relief, and enhancement of muscle functionality.
• Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the proper implementation of treatment plans and therapeutic exercises as per professional and regulatory standards.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities through diagnostic tests, assessing muscle, nerve, joint function, and daily living capabilities.
• Assess client environments for rehabilitation needs and recommend modifications to support greater independence and safety in their daily activities.
• Provide physical therapy services within the home setting, following physician-prescribed treatment plans and adapting interventions based on the client's evolving conditions.
• Administer manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and evaluations on the effectiveness of interventions, adjusting treatments based on patient progress.
• Engage in the evaluation, fitting, and adjustment of prosthetics and orthotics, liaising with physicians for appropriate modifications.
• Document and maintain patient records, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team by participating in case conferences, contributing to comprehensive patient care strategies that align with overall treatment goals.
• Educate clients and their families on the care and use of therapy devices, while also keeping them informed about their physical therapy program.
• Provide supervision and guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring compliance with applicable state regulations and standards.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support the overall objectives of the organization.
