Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your role will include the following essential responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred by their physicians, formulating personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to orthopedic conditions, while also having the opportunity to treat neurogenic, pediatric, and sports medicine cases.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care that drives recovery and enhances the overall patient experience.
• Engage in collaborative team meetings to strategize on improving patient care outcomes and discuss treatment techniques.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises to facilitate recovery outside the clinical environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse patient population, focusing on orthopedic conditions. This includes treating individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal ailments. Your expertise will be crucial in creating individualized recovery protocols that help patients return to their desired levels of activity. You will also support pediatric patients and engage them in therapeutic activities that cater to their developmental stages.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program recognized by the APTA or CAPTE.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficient computer and word processing skills to maintain patient records and document progress.

Compensation and Benefits
