Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with orthopedic conditions, injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices, exercises, and therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Utilize a variety of techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the appropriate use of assistive devices, to help patients manage pain and improve functional mobility.
• Document each intervention and continuously assess patient progress to ensure alignment with treatment goals, modifying plans as necessary based on feedback and outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about the therapeutic process, expectations for recovery, and home exercises to promote independence in managing their conditions.
• Participate in interprofessional team meetings, collaborating with physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to coordinate optimal patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops, contributing to peer-reviewed publications, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
