Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations by reviewing patient medical history, performing specific assessments, and formulating personalized treatment plans based on collected data.
• Communicate assessment findings clearly to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting and treatment decisions to foster a collaborative care environment.
• Implement appropriate treatment protocols that reflect the evolving healthcare landscape and align with evidence-based practices to promote optimal recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic care, recognize when modifications are necessary, and document essential changes in patient conditions.
• Ensure timely completion of discharge planning and follow-up care, maintaining accurate patient records that chronicle the patient's journey through rehabilitation.
• Manage your schedule effectively to meet productivity benchmarks while actively participating in marketing efforts to enhance community outreach and engagement.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives by supporting the achievement of organizational goals and adhering to regulatory compliance standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and mentorship opportunities, while serving as a clinical instructor for affiliated students and new hires.
• Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining flexibility to accommodate patient needs and demonstrating empathy and understanding throughout the healing process.
• Play an active role in breaking down access barriers for patients and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving access to care within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions such as joint replacements, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain issues. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving their functionality and quality of life. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Active state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in orthopedic or outpatient environments.
• Current CPR certification is required to ensure patient safety during treatment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and billing processes is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of contemporary rehabilitation modalities and techniques applicable to orthopedic therapy.
• Demonstrated involvement in mentoring students or less experienced colleagues would be advantageous.
