Key Responsibilities

The role of the Orthopedic Physical Therapist includes a variety of critical tasks aimed at enhancing patient recovery and mobility:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients recovering from injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices, diverse therapeutic techniques such as exercise regimens, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Implement treatment strategies to alleviate pain, improve strength, and restore functional abilities in patients.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and outcomes.
• Provide education and training for patients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises and the use of assistive devices.
• Engage in continuous professional development through attendance at workshops, conferences, and by participating in relevant professional organizations.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must hold:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy.

• Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic health record systems.
• The ability to adapt flexibly to varying work demands while producing high-quality patient care.

Preferred Experience
