Work Environment

The fast-paced, team-oriented environment is complemented by a consistent work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique orthopedic needs and goals.
• Manage a balanced patient caseload, ensuring that each patient receives dedicated time and personalized care throughout their recovery journey.
• Utilize expertise in orthopedic outpatient care while designing and implementing comprehensive therapy programs in partnership with patients.
• Employ evidence-based interventions and cost-effective treatment strategies to enhance mobility, strength, and function.
• Emphasize and promote non-surgical interventions to optimize patient outcomes and minimize reliance on medications.
• Continuously assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment details accurately using electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Web PT.
• Engage in professional collaborations with fellow healthcare providers to ensure continuity and quality in patient care.
• Foster a motivating and encouraging environment throughout the rehabilitation process, instilling confidence in patients.
• Deliver tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at promoting overall health, flexibility, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a broad demographic of patients dealing with various orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. Each treatment plan is customized to meet the specific goals of our patients, emphasizing functional mobility and quality of life improvements.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation modalities.
• A proven track record in developing and implementing successful individualized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with using EMR systems for efficient documentation and patient management.
• A strong foundation in the current evidence-based practices within the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

While experience in outpatient settings and orthopedic care is highly desirable, we welcome those who are newly licensed and eager to learn. A commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the field of physical therapy will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
